Greg T. Walker

Greg T. Walker, bassist, vocals, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist has been playing music all his life. Muskogee Creek from the Eastern Branch Of The Florida Creek Nation, he learned these instruments during a youth that would shape his musical future. From 1st chair saxophone to every instrument in Rock'n' Roll, Greg T. formed his first "play for pay" band at age ten and never looked back. He, along with two of those bandmates and later another friend went on to form the group "Blackfoot", achieving Gold and Platinum sales through nine albums and many world tours.

Playing the same teen clubs, bars, clubs and Naval bases (with work permits, of course) with other area bands created many lifelong friendships that endure today. One of those alliances led to Greg T. joining Lynyrd Skynyrd for a while playing and recording and eventually earning Gold and Platinum sales with them.

In addition to recording many CD's with various artists, Greg T. has written commercials and received an Obie Award nomination. He has been a guest player at Robert Redford's Sundance Film Festival with fellow Native recording artists and friends. But, the icing on the cake was being nominated in four categories at the annual Native American Music Awards for his solo CD titled "Warrior's Pride" with his own group, NDN. To learn more about this project, a complete discography and his other interests from horses to primitive archery, visit Greg T's website and have a look around. There is lots more to him than meets the eye but, in his own words, "I have other hobbies but, music is my passion."
