Casie Shannon
Casie has always been involved with music. From leading the family in Christmas carols to school choirs and traveling music troupes. She recorded her first CD of cover songs for family and friends in 2001. She used the CD to promote a solo act to local fairs and festivals with quick success. The convenience and portability of performing with tracks coupled with a high- energy performance made her a popular choice for opening acts and pageant entertainment.
The popular classic rock and roll band "The Royals", with chart hits in the 1960's, invited Casie to do some guest vocals and soon after invited her to perform with the band full time. With the support of a versatile band, she became able to perform as the featured act for fairs, festivals, conventions and other large venues.
In 2003, she recorded background vocals for the Road Dawgs' original CD titled "Fire on the Highway" and began performing with them in 2004 on a regional tour of the East Coast. It was during this tour that she was invited to do guest background vocals for the Classic Southern Rockers. And so the next chapter begins.
The rapid success of Casie's career is attributed to an intense passion to perform and desire to share her love of music with the world. The support and dedication of family, friends and her fans make the journey worthwhile.
